A sneak peek behind what my day-to-day life's *really* like

Updated: Sep 7, 2023

Hey Friend!

Do you ever feel like you’re on autopilot, just going through the motions of everyday life, in a haze of working, cooking, cleaning, carpooling…and then you do it all over again the next day?

Not gonna lie…

Most days I feel the same.

I mean, MOST days I’m at the gym by 5:30, then back home getting my kids ready for school and out the door (a true horror story!), and off to the high school w

here I teach by 7:30. After work, I’m creating social media posts and working on my upcoming class, Intro to Macros, and getting ready for SHIFT, my next group program. Once the kids get home, I’m cooking dinner, planning tomorrow’s food and then back in traffic carpooling to sports. I try to get a walk in somewhere too. Then it’s bedtime by 9 and up again at 5.

Riveting Right? :)

But I get asked all the time, “Maureen, how do you do it all AND focus on workouts and eating healthy food?”

And truth is, making my fitness & nutrition a priority is a big part of my lifestyle.

I’ve got chunks of time where I work out…chunks of time where I’m sitting at work, then sitting some more creating content…chunks of time where I’m helping the kids with homework…chunks of time where I’m catching up with girl friends…and chunks of time where I’m sitting on the couch drinking wine with Andrew binging Ted Lasso.

…And I know that you want to figure out how to start focusing on your fitness & nutrition while keeping everything else in focus too.

If you want to walk a mile in my shoes and see exactly how I balance it all, come to my next workshop and let’s get to know each other.

Spoiler alert: I’m pretty un-glamorous…but I’m definitely going to challenge you!

In the words of Ted Lasso, “Taking on a challenge is a lot like riding a horse, isn’t it? If you’re comfortable while you’re doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong.”

Eat, drink, be happy & healthy

XO,

Maureen
